Amelon and CarePortal

Amelon United Methodist Church is working to partner with CarePortal (or local partner is Patrick Henry Family Services) to provide aid to local families in need of support. This is a public/private partnership in which we as a church are notified of families in need. Our options are to supply the need, partner with other churches to help meet the need and pray. 

The level of support is determined by us. In return, we get into the homes of local people and have the opportunity to share God's love with them in many ways.

You can help by becoming a member of the response team. The team members will receive notification when need arise and determine if we can help meet the needs. Team members can help in many ways such as finding resources and more importantly your time in delivering the resources while making connections with potential believers and/or church members.

This partnership will get us into homes that we would otherwise not have access to under normal circumstances. If you are an outgoing person who loves to share God's word through work, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to make use of that gift.
